Maybe Elvis Didn't Just Know Music

Maybe he also knew sammiches.
Maybe he knew sammiches as well as he knew music.

And maybe, if you knew what was good for you, you'd know this sammich too.

Here's some step by step instructions.

MMMmmmmmmmmmmm......

MmmmmmmHmmmm........

Oh yeaaahhhh.....

I don't mean to sound bossy.... but really, go make it and come back and thank me.
Or Elvis.
But I might be a little easier to get a hold of.

That looks really yummy. My kids fav. thing to eat is pb and banana. I've never fried it before but I'm positively sure it's going to be big hit when I do it. Thanks for sharing. You're the best!!!

Oh p.s. I just come out of lurker/stalker mode, who'd have thought a sammich could do that to a girl..lol.

Anjeny- Hi! I am so glad you commented! :) I am pretty convinced that butter and heat can kick anything up a notch! haha! But this sammich REALLY becomes a whole new treat when fried. :)

See, that's what we get for not going to the finish line with the recipe.

Sorry LoW, but don't eat pb and have to eat my bananas green not fried! I loved the sight of the butter melting tho, does that count?

Yes, if you can appreciate melteed butter, I most certainly do appreciate you! :-D

YES indeed --we make that very sandwich and it was only because I found out about if reading something about Elvis (this being his favorite) There's a Whole Lot a Shaking Going On when you eat that doozy.

I've never fried them, that would be fabulous, I think. I add a little touch of my own, though...chocolate chips. I kid you not, it tastes like a banana covered in chocolate dipped in peanuts. Very fab!

Hey Lorinda Lou! Yeah, I just gave you that nickname. :) Anyway, I am in a search for my long lost twin. Where is she? hehe

Wendy- I don't know why I always stopped before the frying, I knew he fried it, but why didn't I follow through? hehe At least I know now, eh?

Youngblood4ever- CHOCOLATE CHIPS?!?! Could it get any better?!?! Thanks for that tip!!

Christina- Aw thanks! :) I love nicknames. haha I'll send you her blog address. :)

Yuck. Allergic to peanuts and can't stand bananas. Yuck! That's just nasty. Sorry. Don't really care for Elvis either. He was one messed up man. I need Benedryl just looking at that.

Alright now Melinda Debra Downer! It's one thing to not like the sammich- but Elvis?! Now you are testing our friendship! :-P~~

I've never really understood the whole Evlis worship thing. I did go see his house in Memphis one time. That place is really over-rated....

I don't worship him. My dad is a huge Elvis fan and my dad is the coolest ever, so that made Elvis the coolest ever for me too. I have such memories of my dad singing his songs while riding in the car and stuff and so it's just such a sweet memory for me.

Plus, my brother is Elvis, to top it all off.

So- I love Elvis, no matter his rating, it's personal. :)
