Three Movies

.This weekend my family partook of a movie or two or three.

.I saw The Spy Next Door with Naomi and Zoe. Any movie with Jackie Chan is charming and this one was no exception.

Because this movie was made for the 8 &11 year olds, the audience "Ewwwwwwwwwww"ed when he kissed (a small peck) the leading lady in the movie. And I heard in sterio "Hannah Montana's Dad" when Billy Ray first came on the big screen.

.All in all, The Spy Next Door was a fun family movie.

Meanwhile Rae & friend and Nolan saw The Lovely Bones. I read The Lovely Bones and .... well, it wasn't lovely (nor was it praiseworthy or of good report). I told this to Rae and friend (Nolan was along for the ride) but what do I know, when all the other 10th graders are oohing and ahhing over this movie that's "SOOOOO good", right?

\They didn't like it. Maybe they'll listen to me next time. HA!

.Over the weekend, we also made time for a DVD.

.In 1997 a movie called Fast, Cheap & Out of Control came out. I don't know about you, but I had never heard of it. It was quirky and I love quirky!!

.I admit, by the time the movie was over, I was the only one left in the family room. You can click here to see this trailor. (it wouldn't let me embed)

Thanks for letting me play Siskel & Ebert, you know how I like to pretend.

I'm surprised you let your kids see The Lovely Bones. After the way you talked to me, I was sure that if I was your kid, you wouldn't have let me.
I'm not seeing your favicon.

Nope, I was just pretty set on not seeing it myself.

Bummer about the favicon. It's really cute.

There is most definitely a difference between weird and quirky. I like quirky, I am not such a fan of weird. I think the movie was quirky.
