Happy Thanksgiving Parade!

.
.
Did you miss your Thanksgiving Parade this year?
.
Are you bummed about it? A little blue? Struggling with feeling the Holiday Spirit?
.
Well let us take you on our Thanksgiving Parade. Our small towns parade is a bit typical yet small. I am sure it's something everyone can appreciate.
.
We arrived a little early to assure us a nice spot.

Hi Zoe Boe. Wittle Wu Wu. My little Parade Enthusiast.
.

Rae.... Hello? Rae....? .....It's okay, let's just text her a 'hello'.
.
I think I'll give this one his space.....
.
Where is Naomi, you say??? Hmmm.... I wonder....
.
(Wes has more important plans.... but decides to arrive later... when my camera is pointed in a different direction, to the parade)
.
The Parade begins!
The Grand Marshal! A veteran. Oh mercy, right from the beginning I am verklempt.
.

Then I get verklempter. I pray for you all!!! Every night!! Love you!!!!!

Then we have some fancy schmancy cars.
.

Wittle beauty Queens....

And older Beauty Queens.

High School bands.

Tractors.

Christmas Trains....

And Outhouses.

And floats that I'm not sure what they are 'bout.
\
Dance Teams.

I found Naomi! She was with her Gymnastics Team.

.
Every Parade has Pirates... right?

And Wenches.

Remember when a wench wasn't a derogatory label? Me neither, but I know it was once so.
.
OHow about some crazy hair?

Wanna know the trick to the girls hair on the right? Toilet paper roll. True story.
.
What's a Thanksgiving Parade with out a turkey or two?

.
And we must always end the Thanksgiving Parade with....
.
Santa!

The Grinch?! Stole our Thanksgiving Parade?!?!
.
No way!
.
The Parade will end with Santa!

Well, technically it has to end with the horses, but you know what I mean.....
.

Don't want any little gymnasts doing handstands in horse....
.
Never mind.
Happy Thanksgiving, Ya'll!!!

Yay!! Thanks for sharing your parade. My brother was the Grand Marshall for Blythewood's parade last year. We loved it. I'm related to a celebrity now.

I'm sorry your kids were so excited about the parade this year that they had to drag YOU to it.

I love a parade.
