Homework with Zoe

I was going to write something about Zoe being my sidekick.......

Truth be told, I think I am her sidekick.

The whole truth and nothing but the truth be told, I know I am her sidekick.

Zoe doesn't do homework alone. She insists that I sit by her the whole way through.

But since this momma knows that she'll be graduated from school in the blink of an eye, I won't complain.

I keep trying to tell my wittle baby sister , who has a baby of her own, that in the blink of an eye, he'll be grown up too. She says she blinks her eyes often and he's still a baby.

Do you have any idea how much the small things, such as they way she holds her pencil, melt my heart?????

That's sappy and silly and when other moms blog about such things, it makes me think 'that's just sappy and silly!', but guess what? It's the truth, just the same.

And have you noticed that she can just go on about her homework even with a camera in her face?

That must come from years of practice.
