This weekend my family had a belated Mardi Gras Family Dinner at Ma's house.

My parents front doors are always inviting....

The tables too.....
Because my Ma is my Ma, we had Word Puzzles....
And the teacher in my Ma made sure we had some Mardi Gras Educatin'....
And the creative animal in my Ma made sure we had Mask Makin'....
My Ma made sure we did some Mask Paradin'.....
And we had Beads, oodles and oodles of Beads.....
And Cajun Food....
And big bottles o' drink.
Food, Fun, Family.

good pictures (except the one of me-why does the camera always add that pesky 100 lbs?) it WAS fun, wasn't it? but what AM i going to do with all those beads? ya'll were SUPPOSED to take them home!!!

oh my goodness! I just kept saying oh my goodness every time a new set of cute pics of beads and food and masks and rootbeer popped up.

Crash- I have nothing on my ma. My kids complain that I don't do as much as her.

i'd have to have mardi gras parties for a hundred years!

bought 10 doz beads---9 doz left
bought a buncha tatoos--a bunch left.

but i DO want that lasagna recipe because dad says you MAY be his fave daughter right now, that stuff was so good (he ENJOYED the leftovers sunday!)
That looks like a lot of fun...I am totally salivating on the yumm o food. Love the mask, I gotta say, your Ma can put on a partaaay!! She rocks!!
