I Birthed Artists

We may not be the schooliest family or the most athletic.

Although we do have some who are.

But we do DO art.

Wes has been drawing as long as he's been holding a pencil.

Nolan has been doing comedic type art for years himself.

We never knew that Rae did art though, until just recently.

She is taking Graphic Arts in school and I am confused by exactly what the class is, but one thing it's done is give Rae some confidence. She always said she couldn't draw and she was okay with it and I thought nothing of it, it's not for everyone and that's perfectly fine. But this class has her doing art projects all the time, not on the computer (and I thought it was all on the computer) and she's good! She even overheard her teacher tell another teacher, "Rae is really good."

She did this-

(it's not the whole thing, but my scanner isn't hooked up....)
I'm excited about her new found talent!

Not to leave Naomi out, here is an oldie but goody Ice Cream Art Creation.

Last but not least, Zoe just completed this Heart Art, using..... (how creative!) straws-

(cuter in person, bad photogragher!)

Let's take a closer look...

Open heart-

Closed heart-

Are you having a hard time opening your heart?

Did you know that all you need is a straw and some tape to open your heart?

Kritta- haha!! It's permitted, talk away! :-) As a matter of fact, I was thinking about blogging about my fridge and all the things that cover it and my husband wanting to clean it all off!! gasp!

Sara- I know, I hear ya. Who knew to use straws? Not I. And the tiny heart that opens? That little piece came from a broken lock. ha!
