Rae wanted to be cool on her 15th birthday and let me know that we didn't have to do the traditional cake and candles and such. That we could skip that whole formality.
.
Because she's all grown up now.
.
But we had cake anyways.
Here little sisters even made her a Mud Cake, with candle sticks and leafy sprinkles.
They also made her some coupons.

Pause from opening presents to text.
When we went to the mall to blow the birthday money, she and her big bro stopped at a photo booth.
.
Have you ever noticed that when Nolan is around, it's all about him?
Even when it's someone else's birthday?
Do me a favor, click here and tell me if I should make the change to my blog permanent.

Happy Birthday Rae! A day late. But, well. Hope your day was Wonderful!
Lo..... K, woman. What's with the bacon? I love bacon. And now I'm hungry, and it's not lunch-time and I'm at work. Wah! Woe is mel.
I'm just testing things.... does my blog need bacon? What say you? With or without bacon? On my blog? Better? Worse? What?
in my bail-out programs and my blog reading...i'm all about eliminating the pork!

no bacon, no way... maybe a milkshake though.

Thanks all!!
And I AM quite envious of Rae's hair. She sure doesn't take after her Ma.
What if I did a mud cake instead of bacon?
That's a thought! :-)
Ahhh, sweet Rae! I am okay with her being 15 (although wait-does this mean driver's permit?!) but I am not sure about the 16 next year. We may have to take a vote on that, wouldn't she die? Sorry Rae, my blog stalkers decided no dating for you. :)
ok, if not a milkshake, the mudpie is definitely a close 2nd
that bacon makes me hungry, don't torment a pregnant lady.
Beth- Oh, you wait! And that's the thing about 15, that means 16 is NEXT! :-O
Dar- Totally agree.
Cindy- so you are a no on the bacon? :-D (did your husband tell you he saw me Saturday night?)
So how does it feel to have a big 15 year old? I remember when we first moved here Rae was still in Primary counting down the days until Young Women's, and now she is 15 with permit in hand!
