I am a Gramma now to two of the cutest, funnest, yummiest, sweetest little ones. They live in Idaho while their parents finish school. They are so close. But we don't expect them to move closer to home any time soon. Tis a shame.
I am doing my best to make sure they know who Gramma Dubya is. Thank goodness for video chat. But another attempt is sending Claire (because Thomas will need to grow a little more before he can appreciate it) letters. Her mom made a cute little box for her to put her letters from Gramma in. I try to add other fun things, like stickers and doodles from her aunts and uncles and such.
The other day Zoe was talking about what I am doing to her sister and said, "in other words, mom isn't going to do this for our children."
haha! I do hope she is wrong!
