A Confession

I have condition. It probably was inevitable, since both my parents suffer from the same thing. It's called If-I-know-a-song-and-hear-it-I-have-to-sing-to-it-(out-loud-of-course-)-no-matter-where-I-am-or-who-I-am-with Disease.
.
Honestly, it could be music playing in the grocery store, a commercial on the TV about Drano, it matters not. We hear, we must sing.
.
So it's making my life with my new way cute pink iPod a bit difficult.
,

Any suggestions on how to overcome this issue?

Crash- He HATES it and is SO impatient with those of us that suffer from it. Especially his sisters.

Ma- But when it's an iPod, nobody else can hear the music.....

Download scriptures or conference talks? I'm a singer too. No Ipod though, guess I'm safe.

I don't even need the ipod... I just start belting out commercial jingles from 30 years ago at random places.

oh i have that malady as well....even if i hate the song, i can't help but sing (or at least hum) along.

this is how our rides to seminary would go:

*me singing*

andrew: "who sings this song, heather?"

me: "the beatles....?"

andrew (glaring at me): "then let THEM sing it."

Lorinda- I didn't know you could download such things to an iPod. Awesome. Although I am not sure I'd fair to well on the treadmill while listening to either. :-O

Mel-Now that's awesome!! haha!!

Heather- I SO have heard such similar conversations many times. :)I'm so glad you suffer from the same ailment also. It's nice to not be alone. :)
