.

.
Let's give a Birthday Shout Out to Shelf Reliance!! My all time favorite spot to get the best in food storage and emergency kits!

.
Shelf Reliance turn 5 this week!! (Don't you just love a 5 year old?)

.
Like any other smarty pants person, Shelf Reliance is celebrating their birthday all week!

.
You want to know what's so stinkin' cool? They aren't having a party and asking for gifts, they are having a party and giving gifts!

.
Shelf Reliance is giving away a gift card to one of my readers, right here at www.IamLoW.com, but there is much more being given away on their blog.
.

Don't check out their blog just yet, enter for a $50 Gift Card here.

Before you enter, here's the story of how Shelf Reliance got started..

Jason and Lindsay Budge became acquainted with Steve and Amy Palmer while attending college. Though they didn't immediately realize the devout friendship and enduring partnership they would form, they both felt the need and responsibility to prepare their families for the future.
The two families have always believed that the keys to happiness are the pursuit of self reliance and the proper balance of life's priorities, including a sound education, healthy diet, physical fitness, financial independence, devotion to family, and faith in God. However, there was a key component missing in their goal to be self reliant: an adequate supply of food and provisions to prepare their families for unforeseen hardships or emergencies.
In the summer of 2004, Jason and Steve felt a strong desire to find a solution to this problem. At a time when they were facing difficult decisions and personal challenges - including Lindsay being hospitalized for 3 months to save her unborn twin daughters - Steve and Jason could no longer suppress their desire and passion to help people become self reliant. They turned down extraordinary financial opportunities, took the leap of faith, and started Shelf Reliance.
Shelf Reliance has developed proprietary food rotation products which make food organization and rotation more manageable. The company has also developed its own line of food, THRIVE, recognized for its high-quality and excellent taste.
While the extensive shelf life of THRIVE makes it an excellent solution for long-term food storage, the convenience and great taste of this easy-to-use product makes it the perfect complement to everyday meal preparation and proper daily nutrition. Shelf Reliance is passionate about having the best food products on the market and making them an essential part of everyday living!
Through innovation, hard work, balance, the dedication of its employees and representatives, and an unceasing determination to help people around the world become prepared, Shelf Reliance has become the most trusted name in the industry.

(print that up and read it to your children for their bedtime story tonight!)

(Chim Afammi Nittak)that means Happy Birthday, in Choctaw, Shelf Reliance! Here is to many, many more to come.

I am not choctaw but my Husband's grandpa sings this to in Choctaw to my children (one just turned 5!) every year for their birthdays and they just love it.

Well, by all means - Happy birthday to Shelf Reliance! If I had a birthday cake, I would put a "fire pencil" (per my 4-year old grandbaby) in that cake and sing Happy Birthday!

Okay, I promise that I'm not trying to cheat. I don't really know a lot about some of the "cooler" things out there like this blog stuff, facebook, etc. I commented before but only have a private blog. Didn't know IF I ended up being the WINNER if you'd be able to get in touch with me or not (you probably could but I didn't know). Soooo, I set up a public food storage blog so that I KNOW you'll be able to get in touch with me.

Okay, on to entry 3 & 4. I've linked you up on my food storage blog!
