Belated Halloween Wish

My girls, in costume, preformed a dance just for you.

And apparently Zoe learned to wink!

Enjoy!

Silliest Silly Girls

I was uploading a picture I took this morning when I remembered that my girls had my camera yesterday. I had no idea what they were doing with it and was surprised with this.

I had no idea that Zoe could do this voice.

And it cracked.me.up!

I have tape on my camera to keep the batteries from falling out. Zoe scratched off the goo that the tape was leaving on my camera and that is what she is playing with while doing homework and putting on a show. She IS up and coming!

Up and Coming

Recently there was a busy conversation going on in my house and Zoe made quite the funny comment in the background. Because of the clutter of the conversation, I heard it but was too involved with getting my word in to someone else that I didn't acknowledge it right away. Then Nolan said, "Waitwaitwait, did you just hear Zoe? That was funny!! I think Zoe is Up and Coming!"

Then just the other day, Zoe came up with this video. I am telling you, she wrote the script, did the costume design, directed it....everything.

Well, the very beginning, between Nolan and I, was improvised. Homie wouldn't say his part so I hurried up and said something before the door bell rang. p.s. sorry we didn't clean up the t.p. before taping.

As if that is not enough, Zoe also invented this hairdo that Noami is modeling.

It's the Braided Triple Braid. How awesome is it?!

If someone did actually invent this before Zoe did, please don't tell me. I am wanting to stay this impressed.

Does Anyone Out There Speak Harry Potter?

My kids are HUGE Harry Potter fans. I am not.

I mean, I've seen a few movies, and I enjoyed them just fine. I even did a midnight showing on opening night one time. But it was for the kids, not for me. I've seen a few of the movies but not all. I'm just not that into it.

I couldn't carry on a Harry Potter conversation.

As a matter of fact, this that I am about to show you, is over my head in a Harry Potter sort of way.

Nolan had these Ain't You Knew pictures taped to his door for a while, but after the latest Harry Potter movie came out, he took them down for this-

I don't know what it means but okay...

It was all good and dandy, not big deal. But after a week or so, he added this to the girls bedroom door-

They didn't like being called a Huffle Puff. Anyone know why?

So Naomi had a little pay back, but the night she came up with it, Nolan was running to the store to get a treat and she came to me and said, "I have this for Nolan's door but I am afraid to put it on, he might not let me have dessert." And I said, "Wait 'til tomorrow morning then."

(did I just pick sides right at that moment? Cause if I did, I was on the side of dessert, fyi.)

I don't have a clue what the big deal is with muggles, but I do know that the next morning, that paper was taken down quite quickly.

And then it went on and on again.

I thought it was over.

Then BAM! I had a Batman in framed art in my room!! And I don't like Batman, or any super heroes, for that matter!

What did I do wrong?! How did I get dragged into this war?!

Brownie Points

Gary was home with the 2 youngest kids Saturday.

While I was away he let them play in the rain.

And they set up a tent.

In the house!

Why didn't I think of that?

Ugh, I'll never be the better parent.

Out of Love

I reckon I am not surprised, my daughter is fickle about boys, famous fictional characters are no exception. So when cleaning and dejunking the bedroom, Rae wanted to get rid of the posters that she once loved.

I should also not be surprised at what her 12 year old sister did with the posters that she never wanted in their shared bedroom in the first place.

the Twit saga

ew moo

hehe!

While the Big Sister is Away

All three of my girls share a bedroom. (as it should be, imo)

The biggest sister is away at EFY and the younger two decided, "While Rae is gone, we are going to sleep somewhere different every night this week."

But after the first night of sleeping on the floor, Zoe decided that the floor is more comfortable than her bed (might should look into that) and has been sleeping there ever since.

And We're Back!

Naomi, in order to earn money to buy a K'nex set since she has become obsessed with roller coasters after her Carowinds trip, cleaned out our game closet. She stacked the games up (with just a couple of puzzles) and was so impressed with our collection, she had to snap a picture.

Are you impressed?

What game/games is/are missing?

Anyone? Anyone???

Spring Concert Season

,

It's Spring Concert Season, can you dig it?

This picture is from Naomi's concert Tuesday. Can you spot her??

No you can't because the director is standing directly in front of her. That must be how she got her name.

You can watch the video of this preformance here.

Zoe's concert was last night and it was rockin'!

They sang some Elvis, The Beatles, Jackson 5, and some 80's.

The best was when they sang some Queen.

He's just a poor boy from a poor family, Spare him his life from this monstrosity

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go Bismillah!

No, we will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismillah!

We will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismillah!

We will not let you go (Let me go)

Will not let you go (Let me go)

Will not let you go (Let me go)

Ah No, no, no, no, no, no, no

But that was when my camera suddenly wouldn't record.
Ack!! And it was the highlight of the night!

Both of my girls Chorus teachers will not be teaching at our school next year. Zoe's teacher taught all three of my girls. She'll be missed!

If I Participated in Wordless Wednesday

.
.

If I was a blogger who participated in Wordless Wednesday, I'd post this and say nada.

.

But I don't do Wordless Wednesday, so I'll post the above picture and say-

This is about the creepiest picture ever, is it not?!

.

Taken at the playground not far from our campsite this past weekend.

But You Knew What I Was When You Got in the Boat with Me

We went camping this weekend with family and their was a little boating.

This video of my girls in the boat with my brother reminds me of this story.

More on Rollercoasters

.
.

Ever since Naomi's trip to Carowinds, she just can't shake the rollercoasters. She's watched every possible youtube video of rollercoasters, she keeps talking about her experience on the rollercoasters, she can't wait until the next time she can ride some rollercoasters and now she's making a rollercoaster. (like, literally, as I type- picture taken 5 minuts ago)

By the way, the pink blob over Naomi's left shoulder, than would be a zonked out Rae. She got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning. It's all been kind of pathedic. Nolan took the video camera hoping for the funny moments to be caught on tape, I kept warning him that it's more sad than funny. He believes me now.

Come Join Me

Ride the Ricochet (at Carowinds) with me and 3 tweens (one being Naomi). It's an inbetweener ride, which is fitting for these inbetweener girls. We did it 5 times, so I think you should press play 5 times.

Fireworks

I had the honor of attending a Dinner Theater where my Naomi preformed.

This is my favorite. It's worth watching.

S'mores, The Indoor Kin'

.

At the time, I thought nothing of it, but looking back on these pictures, I am thinking Nolan needs to get his hairy legs off the dining room table!!!

Playing (with) Cards

.
.
Zoe has been playing Uno a lot lately.
.
Not that kind of Uno, this kind-
.
She asked me if she could take a picture and this is what she got-

When she went to be that night, she posted this sign-

And it worked! The next morning, it was still intact. Not a soul touched it.

Then she had time before church and she tore it all down and built a Uno Tent City.

(I especially like the mini-tents made by the mini-Uno cards)

She placed the sign up again- Do not touch!! I mean it!!
.
But Boo is such a rebel. It's like, if you tell her not to do something, it makes her want to do it all the more. (that's why she fits this family so well)

But ya know, the Tent City was built right by an active Volcano so destruction was inevitable.

(Volcano was built by Naomi)

Yo, Darla!

.
.
Hey- big sister.... Do you remember?

Do you remember the hours we put into playing Cat's Cradle?

All the yarn we went through?

I was reminded this weekend, watching my girls do the same.

Do you remember??

She Wouldn't

.
.
Naomi wouldn't dare try this with her new bike from Christmas.... would she?

Oh yes she would.

She'd try.
